Our Position in Christ:

Who you are because of what Jesus has done

    • 1 Corinthians 1:2 (NLT) I am writing to God's church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.

    • Ephesians 4:24 (NLT) Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I thank You that I am sanctified—made holy by Christ Jesus. I am called to be Your holy person, set apart for Your purposes. I am a saint, not because of my perfection, but because of Christ's work in me. Today I put on my new nature, created to be like You—truly righteous and holy.

    • 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NLT) For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

    • 1 Corinthians 1:30 (NLT) God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, You who never sinned became sin for me so that I could be made right with God. I am not trying to earn righteousness—I AM righteous because I am in You. You are my wisdom, my righteousness, my holiness, and my freedom. I stand before God clothed in Your perfection, fully accepted and approved.

    • 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: I am a brand new person in Christ! My old life is gone—dead and buried with Jesus. Everything is fresh and new. I am not who I used to be. The past does not define me. My failures do not determine my future. God is doing a new thing in me right now, and I embrace the new life He's given me.

    • Romans 8:14 (NLT) For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

    • Galatians 3:26 (NLT) For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

    • Galatians 4:4-5 (NLT) But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.

    • 2 Peter 1:4 (NLT) And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Abba Father, I am Your child! Because I have faith in Christ Jesus, I belong to Your family. You sent Your Son to buy my freedom and adopt me as Your very own. I am not an orphan, not a slave, not an outsider. I am Your beloved son/daughter. I share in Your divine nature. I am home, and I am loved.

    • Romans 8:17 (NLT) And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God's glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

    • Galatians 3:29 (NLT) And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God's promise to Abraham belongs to you.

    • Galatians 4:7 (NLT) Now you are no longer a slave but God's own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir.

    • 1 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, because I am Your child, I am also Your heir. Everything that belongs to Christ now belongs to me. I have an inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade—kept in heaven for me. I am not working to earn Your favor; I am already an heir. I receive Your promises with great expectation.

    • 1 Corinthians 12:13 (NLT) Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I am a member of Your body, the Church. I have been baptized into one body by Your Spirit. I am not alone—I am connected to every other believer. I belong. I have a purpose in Your body. I am needed, valued, and united with all who call on Your name.

    • John 10:27 (NLT) My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

    • John 17:3 (NLT) And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.

    • Galatians 4:9 (NLT) So now that you know God (or should I say, now that God knows you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual principles of this world?

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, I am Your sheep. I hear Your voice, and You know me personally and intimately. To know You is eternal life—and even more amazing, You know me! The Creator of the universe knows my name, my heart, my fears, my dreams. I am fully known and fully loved by You.

    • John 5:24 (NLT) I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.

    • Romans 6:4 (NLT) For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

    • Romans 6:11 (NLT) So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.

    • Ephesians 2:5 (NLT) Even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!)

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I have eternal life! I will never be condemned for my sins because I have already passed from death into life. I am dead to sin and alive to You through Christ Jesus. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me and gives me new life. I am fully alive in You!

    • Colossians 2:9-10 (NLT) For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

    • 2 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT) By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, I am complete in You! I don't need anything else to make me whole. Your divine power has given me everything I need for living a godly life. I lack nothing. I am not waiting to be complete someday—I am complete right now through my union with You.

    • Ephesians 2:6 (NLT) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

    • Ephesians 2:19 (NLT) So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God's holy people. You are members of God's family.

    • Philippians 3:20 (NLT) But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, my citizenship is in heaven! I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms right now. I am not a stranger or foreigner—I am a citizen of Your kingdom and a member of Your family. This earth is not my home. I live with an eternal perspective, eagerly waiting for Jesus to return.

    • Ephesians 1:3 (NLT) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Praise You, Father! You have blessed me with EVERY spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because I am united with Christ. I am not begging for blessings—I am already blessed! I have everything I need in Christ. I walk in the fullness of Your blessings today.

    • John 8:31-32 (NLT) Jesus said to the people who believed in him, "You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

    • 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NLT) For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

    • Galatians 5:1 (NLT) So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law.

    • Galatians 5:13 (NLT) For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, You have set me free! The truth has liberated me from slavery to sin, shame, and condemnation. Where Your Spirit is, there is freedom. I am no longer bound by legalism, performance, or fear. I choose to stay free and use my freedom to serve others in love. I am truly free!

    • Romans 3:24 (NLT) Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.

    • Romans 5:1 (NLT) Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

    • Romans 5:8-9 (NLT) But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's condemnation.

    • Ephesians 1:7-8 (NLT) He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I am justified—made right in Your sight by faith in Jesus. I have peace with You because of what Jesus has done. While I was still a sinner, Christ died for me. My sins are forgiven, fully and forever. You have showered Your kindness and grace upon me. I am free from condemnation!

    • Romans 5:2 (NLT) Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory.

    • Romans 6:14 (NLT) Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Lord, I stand in grace! I don't live under law but under Your amazing grace. Sin is no longer my master. I have undeserved privilege with God because of my faith in Christ. I don't have to earn Your approval—I already have it. I live joyfully in the freedom of Your grace.

    • Romans 6:6-11 (NLT) We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, I am dead to sin! My old sinful self was crucified with You. Sin has lost its power over my life. I am no longer a slave to sin—I am free! I consider myself dead to sin's power and alive to God through You. The same resurrection power that raised You from the dead lives in me.

    • John 15:16 (NLT) You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.

    • Ephesians 1:4 (NLT) Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, You chose me! Even before You made the world, You loved me and chose me in Christ. I didn't find You—You found me. You appointed me to go and produce lasting fruit. I am not an accident. I am chosen, called, and commissioned by the Creator of the universe.

    • 1 Peter 2:5 (NLT) And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What's more, you are his holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God.

    • 1 Peter 2:9 (NLT) But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Lord, I am a royal priest! I am part of Your holy nation, Your very own possession. You have called me out of darkness into Your wonderful light so that I can show others Your goodness. I have direct access to You as a priest. I offer my life as a spiritual sacrifice that pleases You.

    • Romans 5:1 (NLT) Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I have peace with You! I am not at war with You. I am not under Your wrath. Because of what Jesus has done, I have been made right in Your sight, and I live in peace with You. There is no condemnation, no fear, no separation. I am at peace.

    • Romans 5:2 (NLT) Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory.

    • Hebrews 4:16 (NLT) So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I have access to You anytime, anywhere! Because of my faith in Christ, I can come boldly to Your throne. I don't have to wait for a special day or earn the right. I can approach You with confidence, knowing I will receive mercy and find grace to help me when I need it most.

    • Hebrews 2:11 (NLT) So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, You are not ashamed of me! You call me Your brother/sister. Even though I am imperfect, You are not embarrassed by me. You and I have the same Father. You make me holy, and You claim me as Your own. I am honored to be called Your family.

Our Spiritual Resources in Christ:

Everything God has given you to live the Christian life

    • Genesis 1:27 (NLT) So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

    • Psalm 139:14-16 (NLT) Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Creator God, I am made in Your image! You created me wonderfully complex and marvelous. You watched me being formed in my mother's womb. You saw me before I was born and recorded every day of my life in Your book. I am not a mistake. I am fearfully and wonderfully made, created to reflect Your glory.

    • Mark 16:17-18 (NLT) These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won't hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.

    • Luke 10:19-20 (NLT) Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. But don't rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, You have given me authority over all the power of the enemy! I have authority to cast out demons in Your name. I can place my hands on the sick, and they will be healed. Nothing will injure me because I walk in Your authority. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world.

    • John 1:12-13 (NLT) But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, You have given me the RIGHT to be Your child! I am not Your child because of my own effort or my family background. I am reborn by Your Spirit. My identity comes from You. I have the legal right to call You Father because I have believed in and accepted Jesus.

    • John 15:5 (NLT) Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, I am connected to You, the true Vine. As I remain in You and You in me, I will produce much fruit. I can't do anything of lasting value apart from You, but connected to You, I have everything I need. I draw my life, my strength, and my purpose from You.

    • John 15:14-15 (NLT) You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn't confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, You call me Your friend! Not just a servant, not just a follower—Your friend. You confide in me. You share with me everything the Father has told You. I have an intimate friendship with the Son of God. I am known, loved, and valued as Your friend.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, You demonstrated Your love for me at the cross. While I was still a sinner—before I cleaned up my act—Christ died for me. Your love is not based on my performance. It's not conditional. You loved me at my worst, and You will never stop loving me. I am deeply, unconditionally loved.

    • Romans 6:6-7 (NLT) We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin.

    • Galatians 2:20 (NLT) My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, I have been crucified with You. My old sinful self is dead. It is no longer I who live, but You live in me. I am free from sin's power and dominion. The life I now live, I live by faith in You who loved me and gave Yourself for me. I am a new creation.

    • Romans 8:14-17 (NLT) For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, "Abba, Father." For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God's glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Abba Father! I have not received a spirit of slavery and fear—I have received the Spirit of adoption! Your Spirit joins with my spirit and affirms that I am Your child. I am an heir of God and a co-heir with Christ. I don't relate to You out of fear but out of love as Your dearly loved child.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, You have united me with Christ Jesus. He IS my wisdom—I don't have to figure everything out on my own. He IS my righteousness—I stand approved before You. He IS my sanctification—I am being made holy. He IS my redemption—I am completely free. Everything I need, I have in Christ.

    • 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 (NLT) Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others. For, "Who can know the LORD's thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?" But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Lord, I have the mind of Christ! I can understand spiritual things because Your Spirit lives in me. I don't have to rely on my own limited understanding. I have access to Your wisdom, Your perspective, Your thoughts. Help me to think with Your mind today.

    • 1 Corinthians 6:17 (NLT) But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, I am joined to You—one spirit with You! We are that closely united. Where You go, I go. What matters to You matters to me. I am not separate from You; I am intimately connected to You. We are one.

    • Romans 8:9 (NLT) But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)

    • Romans 8:11 (NLT) The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

    • 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NLT) Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

    • Ephesians 1:13-14 (NLT) And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News of your salvation. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. The Spirit is God's guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Holy Spirit, You live in me! My body is Your temple. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me and gives me life. I am not controlled by my sinful nature—I am controlled by You. You are God's guarantee of my inheritance. I honor You with my body because I belong to You.

    • 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (NLT) But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ's triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, thank You that You use me to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere. My life is a sweet fragrance to You—a Christ-like aroma. Wherever I go, I carry the presence of Jesus. To those being saved, I am a life-giving perfume. Help me to spread Your fragrance everywhere I go today.

    • 1 John 4:4 (NLT) But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, the Spirit who lives in me is GREATER than any spirit in the world! I belong to You, and I have already won the victory. No weapon formed against me will prosper. No scheme of the enemy will succeed. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. I am victorious!

How your identity in Christ shapes how you live

    • Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I am Your masterpiece! You created me anew in Christ Jesus with a purpose—to do the good things You planned for me long ago. My life has meaning. I am not wandering aimlessly. You have prepared good works for me to walk in, and I step into Your plans with confidence today.

    • Ephesians 2:19-20 (NLT) So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God's holy people. You are members of God's family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I am no longer a stranger or foreigner. I am a citizen of Your kingdom and a member of Your family. I belong. I am built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone. I am home, and I am part of something bigger than myself.

    • Ephesians 4:22-24 (NLT) Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Holy Spirit, I throw off my old sinful nature and my former way of life. I let You renew my thoughts and attitudes. I put on my new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. I am not who I used to be. I am clothed in Christ's righteousness and holiness.

    • Romans 6:17-18 (NLT) Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.

    • Romans 6:22 (NLT) But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Thank You, Father, that I am free from slavery to sin! I was once enslaved, but now I wholeheartedly obey Your truth. I am a slave to righteousness—I serve what is right and good. I do things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. Sin no longer controls me!

    • John 8:34-36 (NLT) Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free."

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, You have set me free, and I am TRULY free! I am not a slave to sin anymore—I am a son/daughter in Your family. I belong forever. Sin has no power over me. I walk in the freedom You purchased for me. I am free indeed!

    • Colossians 1:27 (NLT) For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, You live in me! This is the glorious secret—Christ in me, the hope of glory. I have assurance that I will share in Your glory. You are not distant or far away. You live inside me. Your presence, Your power, Your glory dwells in me. I carry Christ wherever I go.

    • Colossians 2:12 (NLT) For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I am complete through my union with Christ! All the fullness of God lives in Him, and I am filled in Him. I was buried with Christ and raised to new life. The same mighty power that raised Jesus from the dead has raised me to new life. I am complete, whole, and fully alive in Christ.

    • Colossians 3:3-4 (NLT) For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, my real life is hidden with Christ in You. I died to my old life, and now Christ IS my life. I am secure, protected, and safe in You. When Christ is revealed, I will share in all His glory. My identity is not found in this world—it's found in Christ.

    • 1 Peter 2:9 (NLT) But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, I am chosen! I am a royal priest, part of Your holy nation, Your very own possession. You called me out of darkness into Your wonderful light so that I can show others Your goodness. I have a purpose—to display Your glory to the world. I am chosen, called, and commissioned.

    • 1 Peter 2:24-25 (NLT) He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Jesus, You personally carried my sins in Your body on the cross so that I can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By Your wounds, I am healed—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I was wandering, but now I have returned to You, my Shepherd and Guardian. You watch over my soul.

    • 2 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT) By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Father, by Your divine power, You have given me EVERYTHING I need for living a godly life! I have great and precious promises that enable me to share in Your divine nature. I am not just trying to be like You—I actually share in Your nature. I escape the world's corruption because Your nature lives in me.

    • 1 John 3:1-2 (NLT) See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don't recognize that we are God's children because they don't know him. Dear friends, we are already God's children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Abba Father, see how very much You love me! You call me Your child, and that is what I am—right now, not someday. I am already Your child. When Christ appears, I will be like Him, for I will see Him as He really is. I am being transformed into His likeness day by day.

    • Revelation 2:17 (NLT) Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it.

    • DECLARATION/PRAYER: Lord, You have given me a new name—a name known only to You and me. You see me not as the world sees me, but as You created me to be. My identity is secure in You. You know my secret name, and You call me by it. I am victorious, and I receive the new identity You have given me.
